Three years ago tomorrow, I very nervously gave this speech. I knew my career as a TV journalist was dunzo, cooked, filleted, kaput the morning I wrote it. (Thanks to Kat insisting I go for it anyway.)

The founding fathers feared "factions" (political parties). I read the following quote again today. It rings especially true when the de facto leader of one party just loves to spout vitriol about ... well, anyone, and much of the public loves to say evil things about "the other guys".
