Everyone loves making jokes about Bosnia without ever mentioning the genocide of Bosniak Muslims, or that there's a serb ethno state run by criminals, or that there was recently a coup to prevent us from making any progress, or that our politics are decided by westerners and Russia.
I really hate this narrative that the Balkans are completely disconnected from the rest of the world and that everything that happens here is because of some strange alien culture no one can comprehend.
It's pure racism from people who's countries are responsible for Bosnia's current conditions
Worst thing about Bosnia being relevant is having to hear westerners comment on our country because they act like they aren't the reason our politics are fucked up.
Bosnia isn't wacky because weird Balkan culture. Our government was created by Americans and we aren't allowed to change it.
