I need 75 more days in my week, & 1,000 more hours in my day.

Thank you to @alanbaxter.bsky.social for being so gracious to my awkward hello & introduction this afternoon when we ran into him at one of our favourite book stores in Hobart. I'm still absolutely baffled that in the year of our catastrophe 2026 a university course expects you to hand in printed copies of your work, especially in A3, colour, but doubly especially when it's just a paragraph or two of black and white text.

Honestly, it's amazing just how often @tarawinequeen.bsky.social & I are on the same wavelength.
If you're in or near Dundee, you should go check this out. Makes a refreshing change to the emphasis on "Tartan Noir" or Scotland-based crime/thriller.(Not that there's anything wrong w/those, just great to have a variety of voices, styles, & genres.) 1/2
