I can't overemphasise what an extraordinarily good range of books these are and how inspirational. I picked up THE HAUNTED LIBRARY the other day, read JUST THE INTRODUCTION FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, a light bulb went on over my head (it emitted a ghastly green glow) and I ran off and wrote a short story.
Ben Wheatley's A FIELD IN ENGLAND is one of my absolute favorite modern horror movies and Lisa & I were overjoyed to have him on the podcast to discuss Judge Dredd & Judge Dee.
Punting this one to the Bluesky gestalt: I have very vague memories of a BBC 2 TV series; one season, I think; short episodes (15mins, maybe); about assorted bad scenarios; narrated by Bob Peck, probably; late 1990s.
VERY vague, I know.
No joy with the IMDb. Does this ring a bell with anyone?
“Completely mind-blowing” — the original creators of Rogue Trooper react to seeing @manmademoon.bsky.social’s forthcoming movie!
A private screening of the movie — premiering at @annecyfestival.bsky.social — was staged for co-creators Gerry Finley-Day & Dave Gibbons. Their reaction speaks volumes!
