Putin’s war machine has maliciously attacked Ukraine’s holiest site, the Lavra.
On Saturday, I met with Ukrainian refugees living in South Norfolk & as I said to them then I will always stand with Ukraine.
We must be united in the face of Russian aggression to protect a fellow democracy.
I’ll take the time to read the draft Bill, but if it’s the same as previous I will oppose.
My fear isn’t isolated to this Bill. For better or worse, a chunk of parliamentary procedure is based on the “gentleman’s agreement” approach. We must tread carefully when changing the rules of procedure.
I’m saddened that the Assisted Dying Bill will be returning to Parliament.
I understand my colleague doesn’t wish for the Parliament Act to be used, but others may.
This Bill was in no manifestos & not Govt’ backed. There is no precedent for a PMB to be forced through Parliament.
