I think every politician who proposes to ban anything on the internet for teens should be required to propose, as an alternate, a free and accessible and all weather space for teens to hang out in their own hometown
My heart hurts to think about all the queer kids that may be cut off from learning anything about themselves as we increasingly work to legally restrict their access to any of the internet
In the pre-surveillance capitalism era, you just did not have to worry about if playing a Pokémon game on your GameBoy was actually supporting the development of deadly military tech
psychologically, I don’t think it’s good you now absolutely do have to worry about this with most any tech device.
