Every year, Calarts school has a showcase where they select a handful of student films to be screened in a Hollywood theater.

First look at "Fleur" (Flower), the new French animated feature film by Rémi Chayé (Long Way North, Calamity).
The story is set in the slums on the outskirts of Paris in 1910 ("La Belle Époque").

This doesn’t happen with every show I see, but man I choked up multiple times with how the story was visualized between the lighting, singing, and choreography. Theatre is so cool 😭
