On a special day for Yoshinobu Yamamoto that could have been so much more: www.nytimes.com/athletic/735...
Plan is for Shohei Ohtani to pitch Wednesday. Monday: Eric Lauer Tuesday: Justin Wrobleski (on “regular” rest) Wednesday: Ohtani
Miguel Rojas said he’s been playing through a shin issue the last few days. Felt it out of the box early yesterday and again trying to get out of the way of a pitch. Didn’t want to risk the perfect game, so he came out. But said he is available today.
Shohei Ohtani is back in the Dodgers lineup.
Some more injury stuff from Dave Roberts: - Tommy Edman is on track to be activated Tuesday - Blake Snell is continuing his throwing progression - Tyler Glasnow could start playing catch soon.
Shohei Ohtani had imaging done on his left knee today, Dave Roberts said, which came back clean. Dodgers just wanted to give him an extra day. “Not an IL situation,” Roberts said.

Shohei Ohtani (knee) isn’t in the Dodgers lineup.
Some Dodgers things I think after their series in Chicago: www.nytimes.com/athletic/736...
Dave Roberts said it's "not an IL situation" for Shohei Ohtani, who isn't in the Dodgers lineup Friday and underwent imaging (which came back clean) on his left knee. "Now we can kind of manage the symptoms … going forward.” www.nytimes.com/athletic/735...
Shohei Ohtani said he was "pretty confident" his knee will be in a good spot for the Dodgers going forward. His home run in his first at-bat on Saturday seemed to be a pretty good sign of that: www.nytimes.com/athletic/735...
