basic transparency is apparently “totally unworkable“ for the Republican majority. they will do anything to continue to cover up surveillance abuses.
@wyden.senate.gov will offer a 5-week extension of 702 that does not change how the program works at all. It only requires additional transparency about government surveillance. Why are republicans choosing to let 702 lapse?
