If you're heading to the Australian Model Expo at Sandown here in Melbourne this weekend, I'm planning to be there all 3 days this year, and looking forward to catching up with as many of you as I can. I'll be wearing my KLP Publishing hoodie as usual. If you can't find me, just look down.
I've just returned from a fantastic weekend at Model Expo here in Melbourne, where the Sea Fury was awarded a Commended. The model generated a lot of interest and discussion, and I'll be starting work on the book in earnest in the coming days.

Back to some airliners now, with the Airfix Trident making a return to the bench. Ready for gloss coats and decals. I used a 50:50 mix of Mr. Color Midnight Blue and Blue Angels Blue for the lower fuselage, which I think does the job nicely.

With the Sea Fury finished, it's time for some more distracto-builds. Disarmingly charming kit, this one. Completely out of box, other than seat belts from Metallic Details. I don't have any stickers for it, but apart from some stencils, it doesn't really need any.

The text is clear and concise and the pictures crisp. The additional history and words from the pilot really do add to the story of the aircraft.
