I went to the sea last week and took some water for microscopy. Found a flatworm and just look at those cells! So pretty :D

Dammit! I just noticed I meant to write „they‘re all from different families“ 😭
Ooh! What a great resource! I‘ve been looking for something like that! Nice :D
Interesting! I’ll look for those later or tomorrow. I‘m from Germany. Thank you very much! :D
Do you have any recommendations of what features to take photos of for IDing? ^^
I have the specimen in alcohol and could probably go up to the 20x objective on this one. A friend mentioned that the bristles on the claws were relevant?
Thanks! Sadly not. I‘m not at all good with these. Family Chernetidae is as far as it has been IDed on iNat
Found three different species of pseudoscorpions yesterday and they‘re all from different species as well! :D

I was very surprised to find this beetle larva in my marine/brackish water sample today. I thought aquatic beetle larvae occurred exclusively in fresh water!
If you have any idea as to what species/genus/family this belongs to, please let me know. I’m very curious! :D
