Our findings: 1. There is substantial health inequality by race, ethnicity, and gender. At age 55, Black men and women have frailty levels, which could be viewed as "biological age," comparable to those of White men and women 13 and 20 years older, respectively. 1/4 #Econsky
In a paper accepted by the Journal of Risk and Insurance, Laurier prof William Morrison and @mcmasteruniversity.bsky.social prof Bradley Ruffle conduct a lab experiment on insurance claims and find that there is no link between dishonest insurance reporting and the amt paid for insurance.
