Honestly, I can't even bring myself to get excited about game announcements anymore. Everything that's piqued my interest lately has ended up either disclosing that AI was used (a little, a lot, whatever, any is a no go for me) or have their use of it revealed after trying & failing to hide it.
On the one hand, I have a massive backlog I could spend the rest of my life getting through, plus I love replaying my old favs regularly, so it's not like I'm lacking for entertainment. On the other hand: wow, it sure sucks to live in a world where it's utterly pointless to look forward to new games
It's been almost a YEAR since I've written any new fics (not counting like one chapter of "Could" and a not-yet released zine piece)??? I need to rectify this
