taking care of myself. I burnt out once or twice and was able to push through, but I could've avoided it if I'd just been nicer to myself!
Overall, I am so proud of Broomsmith. I feel it wraps up my SCAD career nicely, and it's a wonderful culmination of all the things I've learned while here.
My #portfolio is coming along swimmingly! I'm obsessed with the sign drop down options haha
Doing some veeeery simple modeling to make a curse lever!

And for quality of life purposes... floating signs with instructions on how to do tasks around the workshop! Just in case you forget.
This game has been a blast, and I can say confidently that I have improved so much while working on it. I've learned new pipelines, techniques, and tools.

🧵VR Capstone FINAL UPDATES! #gamedev #vr
Broomsmith has been an absolute blast to work on these past... 30 weeks? Wow. I'll be sharing some of my favorite things from this quarter's additions. Let's start off with the Baby Dragon Spray Can!! Feed him two pigments and he'll help you paint!
Reiterating another favorite of mine: The Curse Station!
This was the primary mechanic for Spring Quarter. This video is older and I can say with confidence that the mechanic is even better now!!
And isn't the baby mimic cute? If you don't feed her the curse, you get less money :( She's hungry.
I also created a radio that allows players to change the game's background music! It adds another level of immersive play and customization easily, and lets players listen to their favorite backing track in the game whenever, and for however long, they want.
