It was not the worst overall I show I'd been to, because Kamelot knocked it out of the park, but their co-headliner Sonata Arctica put on a terrible show at the Palladium in Worcester in 2019. There weren't drunk, just a really low energy performance of utterly forgettable parts of their catalog.

I was doing a thing a while back, asking people about the worst concerts they'd been to, thinking I'd get some really interesting stories, but it turns out 90% are just some combination of "artist was too inebriated" and "artist was late" with a smattering of "venue sucked" and "crowd was bad."
