Honestly it’s good that someone who’s been polling consistently in the top three for 2028 is being this clear. Even if he’s unlikely to be the nominee, this will have an impact on the other candidates.
i think it is noteworthy that this would have been unthinkable under *either* a republican or democratic administration even five years ago
this guy is quite obviously seething with hatred of trans people, particularly trans women. cant even do anodyne sports posts without him sneering at you. that’s *why* he gets hired by the New York Times to write about trans issues
Another dishonorable mention was Iron Maiden at Madison Square Garden in NYC in 2010. They made a point of playing basically only songs from their 00's to 2010 catalog, and like, if I'm paying to travel to NYC to see Maiden I'd like _some_ stuff from the classic catalog too.
Probably the worst overall show experience was Dropkick Murphys, the Might Mighty Bosstones and Civet at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, RI in 2008. The show itself was fine but I got sunburned, my glasses got punched off and busted by someone moshing, and then the date I went with ghosted me after.
It was not the worst overall I show I'd been to, because Kamelot knocked it out of the park, but their co-headliner Sonata Arctica put on a terrible show at the Palladium in Worcester in 2019. There weren't drunk, just a really low energy performance of utterly forgettable parts of their catalog.
