#Microscopyfriday A while ago, I was looking for phenotypes in my barley mutants and thought the length of the rachilla hairs could be changed. Was not the case but the resulting SEM pictures were still beautiful. Side fact I learned on the way: rachillas can be used as barley cultivar indicators
