“The average NSW resident is already $20,000 a year worse off because of historical climate change, and economic modelling suggests future global warming will further squeeze household budgets through a double whammy of lost wages and higher grocery bills.” www.smh.com.au/environment/...
Take this to the 2028 election Pauline! And as the Coalition will preference One Nation and may enter into a coalition govt with them they should be asked every day whether they support this. #auspol www.smh.com.au/politics/fed...

I’m so moved by Kane Evan’s bravery. I’m also so incredibly proud that his union reached out to him. The bloke football codes have a lot of work to do, and I’m super impressed to see the Players’ Association doing the work to make things better. www.nine.com.au/sport/nrl/ne...
As well as the cost of extreme weather and natural disasters, longer-term climatic changes are also a drag on economic productivity, the NSW Net Zero Commission says.

You’re losing $20k a year because of climate change – and it’s predicted to get worse

One Nation’s polling surge, which has pushed it above Labor and the Coalition, has focused attention on the right-wing populist party’s policy platform.

Redbridge/Accent poll shows One Nation fans not overly concerned with cost of living, healthcare, housing affordability but VERY het up about immigration DemosAU says:"once undecided voters are excluded, ~1 in 5 Coalition voters at the 2025 Federal Election are now intending to vote for One Nation"
Checked my mail at my new house and found one of these. Left it in the letterbox for the snails to eat... 😂

It's quite shocking what has happened to research funding in NZ. Total vandalism. I'm grateful this piece mentions the humanities panel was cut entirely in 2024, albeit without mentioning this panel was also social sciences; I have been dismayed how many scientists pass over this cut without notice
Labor's cruel NDIS cuts will make it worse for families like mine

When your entire political brand is racism, hate-mongering, doing the bidding of billionaires & ape-ing Trump postures, it's no wonder One Nation is a bare-assed policy clown show 🤡

One Nation, six farcical explanations and no clearer understanding of its housing policy
Looking at what PHON supporters care about in comparison to other voters... basically it's just immigration! Images below from Redbridge/Accent poll show that the only issue PHON supporters diverge is immigration (dark blue ranks 1st, medium blue ranks 2nd, light blue ranks 3rd, grey = not ranked)

We keep hearing that PHON's growing support is a result of the cost of living crisis. That she's favoured by struggling Australians... Yet if you look at the latest RedBridge/Accent Research poll, then it's clear that those who own their home outright are her biggest supporters! #AusPol

Although the government was prepared for a debate over housing following its budget, it was blindsided by a meme war over capital gains and a non-existent ‘death tax’.
