This is stupendously exciting. It's the most positive tech news I've heard in forever and I expect Australia and our neighbours to be watching with great interest. I'm also inclined to go hard on dadpunning at a time like this. I mean would you Qwant it any other way?

It’s worth noting the European Search Perspective (backed by Ecosia & Qwant) told EU governments in March that it will build a European search index with either €50 million in funding or if govs switch their default search engines to Ecosia and Qwant for them to generate the ad revenue to fund it.
