Of the cartoon reboots we’ve had, this was my favorite one. It was almost like it went in with a mission to leave everyone in a better place after checking in on them after a long time apart.
I was reminded that I used to do "Awful Drawings Of Any Character" at conventions (folks could request any character that I would then render in crayon on copy paper for $1), and this piece from nearly a decade ago came to mind...
Well, I tended to be more eclectic in my musical tastes as a child. Videos and trains were in my soul, and I always anticipated solid gold countdowns after I left the bandstand every weekend. But as I grew into my teen, I found nirvana, seen rap wars, stopped chasing waterfalls & got misunderstood.

It may be temporary, but seeing WVEC addressed as "A TEGNA Network" today was kind of funny.

Every once in a while, I still think about this scene from the King of the Hill reboot, which was fantastic. And that comes from someone who grew up with the show.
