Hi friends! 🌿 Finally sharing a botanical pencil drawing of mountain clover from my sketchbook.
Soft, simple, and quietly full of nature’s harmony 💛

‘Kiss’ by HIRO takes my breath away…
In this painting, HIRO uses Nihonga pigments and pigment ink on hemp paper to create a soft, richly detailed piece that feels as delicate as a flower!

Certainly not fighting the 'cute' allegations with this froggy green.
Photo study that was good fun - really enjoyed painting the ruff!
This Sacred Kingfisher was a commission for a lovely client, kingfishers are probably my favourite birds to draw so this was an absolute delight 🩵 #birds #kingfisher #wildlifeart #illustration #art
Okay this is weird, but here's a sketch of a man I saw in a dream. Can't remember his face, hence the bag. At a party, someone pointed to him and said his costume was "he brought his significant udder"
The shock of hearing a punchline to a joke I'd no prior knowledge of IN MY OWN DREAM woke me up 👀
A detail of the painting. Each cobblestone, pavement, building, tree…all of it really, done using liquid acrylics filling the chamber of an Isograph pen. One tone of colour one way, turn the paper and apply another tone of colour over the top. It took me bloomin ages but I was very happy with it.

There is something about Utahceratops -- probably the neotonic brow horn proportions -- that makes me call it 'Cutahceratops.'
