We’re looking for someone who engages with the substance, not just the process. Comfortable in research and policy environments. Holds multi-stakeholder relationships with integrity. Understands that building an effective policy stream takes as much investment in people and culture as in ideas.
We’re also at the centre of a larger question: whether sovereign democratic institutions can be rebuilt in time to meet the pace of AI-driven change. The Associate Director, Policy leads across all of it: kids & tech, AI governance, platform regulation, online harms.
