Funny part, the park is empty too! The surrounding Data Bricks GenAI (ew) conference is full of people and only a few of them can even enjoy the park. All this on tax payer dime. Its so gross.
Anyway I love this city but wow this sucks.
So sick and tired of San Francisco consistently blocking off tax paying public spaces for bs ai companies. Yerba Buena park closed yet again.
San Franciscans cant even enjoy the little nature we have downtown without it consistently having it be closed off by tech companies 😭 @sfgov.sf.gov
The only way for this AI "competitor" to function is by taking a bunch of work off the internet without consent. A bill in California would force transparency in their dataset.
