Two general notes FYI -
First on fascism:
We cannot be more scared of the term fascism than the actual roots of fascism.
Facism as I have employed it here is the accurate term to use no matter how much many of us do not want to believe that we are at this juncture - or seek to deny we are.

9) Meanwhile, some UK politicians are now publicly outlining policies seeking the deportation of millions of immigrants from the UK.
10) Alongside that, they say, they would arrest and prosecute those officials and politicians who brought what is described in terms of ‘savages’ to the UK.
11) All of this is a direct consequence of Brexit populism: through its unchecked framing as anti-immigration, it set in motion the, by now complete, normalisation of far right agendas. Social media, AI and local dynamics matter too, but the normalisation of the far right agenda is rooted in Brexit.
18) And, crucially, fascism does not start with death camps - that is where it can end.
19) Both democracy collapse and fascism start with the limitation of rights for specific communities; the undermining of the rule of law; the curtailment of democratic participation, incl protest rights etc.
6) The world’s richest man is helping fuel this violence in our communities through his personal interventions as well as X as a platform that is, in itself, a fascist platform now.
7) Despite that, most of our politicians, Govts / Govt Depts, journalists etc are still using that platform.
