The vast majority of anti-ai views are, no exaggerating, reactionary and conservative in philosophical, social, and economic ways. Not that I lose the irony that a while ago I saw a thread about AI art where there was a post with thousands of likes quoting Roger Scruton.

Why does BlueSky keep centering American and more broadly Western voices whenever we do AI discourse?
It won't work because a group full of 'Einsteins', still can't compete w/ a Fable 5+. I truly hate we have the dichotomy slop of guys larping DUNE genetics programs, and then on the other hand we have inept technophobic luddites.
