One of my absolute favorites. Just read it a year or two ago, not sure how I had slept on it my entire life.
A bad deal is a bad deal, even if preferable to the status quo. This mirrors the Suez Crisis: Britain, France, and Israel launched an optional war to seize the canal and topple Nasser. Egypt won, Nasser became a hero, and the invaders lost their Middle Eastern influence.
I mean....
I get that not everyone is religious, and that's great. But I do truly believe everyone on Earth could benefit from coming together with their community once a week and hearing a great 20 minute talk on how to live a good life. Sing some songs. Eat some donuts. Help out some people.
