Behavioural neuroscience PhD student at Cardiff University. Interested in behavioural estimates of reaction time sub-components and their link to measures of brain function.

Preregistration now on OSF! We’re running a MEG-based selective stopping study to identify neural markers that more directly track the timing of causal mechanisms of action inhibition. We combine EMG, acceleration data, and reaction time measures to inform our analyses.
Happy to receive feedback!
Congratulations to @heatherrstatham.bsky.social for her prize at the AVA Xmas meeting yesterday 👍
"How long does it take to convert visual signals into instruction driven commands?" delivered the first data towards our pre-registered study osf.io/n4xek/regist... #beyondSSRT 😁
Thank you @meguki2025.bsky.social for letting me discuss my current project; 'Automatic & Selective Inhibition in the Brain: a MEG & Selective Stopping Study' at your conference a few weeks ago. It was a great experience, with fascinating talks and lots of lovely people to talk science with!
Excited to share the preprint to our latest paper which has been sent out for review by eLife! 🎉 'Non-decision time: the elephant in the executive control room'

So some of us psychology PhD students from Cardiff University will be trekking to Everest Base Camp in a couple of weeks! And whilst doing so, we'll be collecting donations, 100% of which will go to Bipolar UK. Support mental health and follow along on our journey!

Had a great time at the AVA Xmas meeting back in December where a lot of great vision work was being presented. I'm grateful to have been awarded a poster prize for our current work on measures of executive control; SSRT and our potential alternative, ΔT. Find the prereg at osf.io/n4xek/regist...
