yesterday, i saw three groundhogs eating clover beside the road, plus two more that had died to cars. i really hope that one of the parents survived, bc they don't usually disperse until late august.
i was able to watch one eating for a bit at at the stop light. they're so cute and i hate cars.
surgery date is 7 weeks out, so the gods apparently thought i needed to be experiencing terrible pain for a total of three months before relief happens.
