This film is about an autistic friendship. My interpretation of the film is that it is about how autistic people are drawn to each other and that these bonds can transcend age and social norms.

The writing in this film is so Human as to be foreign to modern audiences. The irony poison has stripped us of this level of honesty. Evergreen film.
