and tbh, what I really love about this shows is how it makes something that could feel like by-the-books or repetitve adventures feel naturally paced and grounded, and that's thanks to some great character dynamics, cool worldbuilding and directing that doesn't get stale. it's a good show!
me and the boyf are caught up with the Frieren anime!
season 1 was stellar and season 2 was of the same caliber but I can't help but think it was weird to only do a 10 episode season after the last one. seeing the cliffhanger at the end, I guess it's cause they wanted to keep the next big arc for S3
other Netflix anime having weekly releases makes this even more baffling, is someone at Warner Bros super into the batch release format??
why release the first episode so far away from anything else? I thought Stone Ocean's audience reaction would have given them the right warnings.
