The thrift, campion and bluebells are in full bloom on Skomer at the moment - it's a lovely sight and smells great too! What's your favourite thing about May on Skomer?

We are back! The Skomer team landed safely back on the island today with many boxes, bags and sacks of potatoes, and were greeted by a Siskin, Hen Harrier and plenty of butterflies. We are very grateful to Amy and Anna, two of last year's long-term volunteers, for helping us with the move on.

It's a beautiful morning here in North Haven. The boat is just coming round the headland and it's 1st April - Skomer Island is now open!

Christmas hours - No hostel or event bookings can be taken 18th Dec - 5th Jan. Day trips can still be booked online as normal. Social media will not be monitored during this time. Thank you, and we hope you have a wonderful Christmas period!
