A jumping spider from Holme. Attulus saltator? and the Silvery Leafcutter bees working away digging their nests. A short clip www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsey... @norfolknats.bsky.social
Found it difficult to get pictures of this 1-2mm Theridiidae. Coleosoma floridanum a tropical glasshouse species in the UK and ant mimic. Lots of mature males/females. Appears to be a first record for #Wales with only a few in the UK. @britishspiders.bsky.social @cofnod.org.uk @sewbrec.org.uk
Crustulina guttata from gorse/heather/grass at East Winch today. Two adult females. Very small.
There's always something funny pops up. Think this is Philodromus collinus. It's not a rare spider, but associated with pines, and I can't remember if there are pines at East Winch? Hasn't been recorded there before - from heather and gorse. @britishspiders.bsky.social @cofnod.org.uk
A few more from photos taken at East Winch. Is there a West Winch I hear you ask? There is - on the A10 near King's Lynn. I have to think every time I write a tube label to make sure I put the right one.
