Nearly 80 percent of humans are religious, pray regularly and believe in some sort of soul and connection to the divine.
In some ways we are finite beings craving an infinite connection.

Arjuna - you speak sincerely, but your sorrow has no cause.
The wise grieve neither for the living nor for the dead.
-- Gita (2.11)
The above quote is what hooks people to reading the Gita.
I just realised that it is extremely difficult to start something new π π . Especially with a full time job and a full time family and social life!
I have been trying to start the book wisdom club which I wrote about a few months ago.
And then rinse and repeat for each video π π
It is a journey but I am now doubling down and committing to complete it.
I had done the same with writing a book - for nearly 10 years. And finally the book is with an Editor for a final evaluation.
Do you believe in a Soul?
If yes - how does the soul matter to you?
If no - how are we all connected? Have you evr thought abt it?
Most religions espouse the soul principle - can the world be explained without the need of a soul?
I am just trying to rethink spirituality in the current century.
I then decided to short list Bhagvad Gita as the first book.
So first hurdle - I had read the Gita over ten years ago.
Therefore I had to read it a few times again π π - before I could even think of anchoring a group reading.
Then I decided that a YouTube channel will make better sense.
This has led to a flurry of activity in learning how to youtube. π π
I have to get a good micποΈ, get the right lights! Learn the camera settings, learn how to script, learn how to shoot, learn how to edit on DaVinci Resolve π€¦π€¦
So looking forward to this new fun activity and the torture of it!! π
Though I am not very sure why I do these things π€¦π€¦
Just to add - the website habits.social was a similar activity. Learnt a bunch of things while making the website.
Look forward to create a community of people who want to become their better selves. ππͺ
The knowledge is out there we just need to internalize it.
