My considered view is that ministers who attend Pride events are breaching the ministerial code and should resign. Because it suggests they believe trans people are people, which goes against government policy.

There are no good faith reasons why the EHRC now wouldn’t update the code of practice for employers. Either government has told them to keep the issue out of the headlines, or they realise that in the employment context their approach would be torn to shreds by the first court it touched…
