I don't understand how it's even a debate in cities, counties, or states. Datacenters are stealing the utilities, ruining the water - their owners do NOT live in the places they ruin. They should be controlled and regulated so stiffly they have to fix every bit of anything they ruin.
Europe 🇪🇺 has to pay more attention to the wave of datacenter rejection in the US. They know what they are fighting for and against.
