In happier news, today is National Black Women Physicians Day. My fellow Black women physicians and I proudly stand on the shoulders of Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler (1831–1895), who, in 1864, became the first Black woman to earn a medical degree in the United States.
Researchers at the KEMRI Wellcome Trust have recently discovered that using a lower-dose of the #YellowFever vaccine is no less effective than the standard dose. This therefore means that outbreaks can be managed better during vaccine shortages 💉🌍 Find out more 👉 buff.ly/E3JLtpV
