I’m a digital native millennial. Getting to access to the internet and just experiment from my early teens onwards is one of the main reasons why I’ve had exactly the kind of high-paying tech jobs the government wants to encourage. Maybe it’s changed, but I’m very uncertain a blanket ban is right.
Like, if we think algorithms are a problem, make the tech companies provide algorithm free versions for kids. If it’s the content, make them take responsibility for the content. Etc. etc.
