Split 14/15 (1176 SOF)

@varcracing.com Mustang Drivers Were Survivors for P2 at The Glen.
We played from behind all race starting on the last row. Had the lead into the final hour and ran our strategy from Race 1. Heavier rain dropped our pace down so much the leaders were able to stretch their fuel number to the good.
Fifteen splits in the opening timeslot for the @iracing.com 6 Hours of the Glen Special Event on Friday night (22:00 GMT), and here's how the VARC Enduro Team stacked up to the competition.
We'll run it down the list in order of team name.
VARC Enduro Team I
@burk.racing / @kpokrefky.bsky.social
Split 8/15 (1858 SOF)
Burk and Pokie led the gold-trimmed flagship car through many trials and torments of ill-timed prototype passes and the last rain-speckled moments of the race to finish 6th in class and 18th overall.
VARC Enduro Team V
@blackstockalypse.bsky.social / Mason
Split 8/15 (1858 SOF)
The Enduro Team's only Mustang entry had pace early but technical issues with the sim saddled them with a P17 in class, P31 overall.
I tried so hard
And got so far
In the end?
A Prototype killed my raaaaaace.
the @varcracing.com Team IV
The first 5 hours went great, ran in the top 10 the entire time, had really good pace to keep the top 10. Then the last hour happened, and it all fell apart from there.
Still had a great time with @chandlerthedadler.bsky.social
P30 in class
P39 overall
VARC Enduro Team III
@phathead.bsky.social / @sethw.bsky.social
Split 10/15 (1609 SOF)
The VARC High Life car was able to fight through rain, contact, and a pet-shortened stint from Jory (dog ate rabbit, she's okay, the rabbit isn't) to take P4 in class and P14 overall.
