Did you know 20% of New York City has Caribbean Heritage? New York City is home to a variety of Caribbean communities from Little Haiti in Brooklyn to Little Dominican Republic in Washington Heights. This month, we celebrate Caribbean New Yorkers and their representation on the Council.
Last night, the Council celebrated Caribbean Heritage Month! Whether in Little Caribbean in Central Brooklyn, Little Guyana in Queens, or Little Haiti in Flatbush, our city embodies the diversity of Caribbean Heritage every day!
