Hey friends, sorry to pop in only for an emergency, but Gwendolen (our tuxedo cat) just ate a piece of yarn, so we’re at the emergency vet to induce vomiting. We are SO CAREFUL about getting rid of stray yarn and I feel awful that she still found a piece.
Shockingly I did not step on any legos!!
10yo got this closet as a Lego room because he hated putting his legos away every day (always strewn across his floor in a system that made sense to him) and I hated stepping on them 😂 Now his room is Lego-free and he doesn’t ever have to put them away!
She just vomited and 10yo was able to identify what came up as what she swallowed, so all shall be well!!! SO RELIEVED.
Today is the day when I tackle the gigantic mess the cats made a while ago—I heard a tremendous crash followed by the scampering of little cat feet racing from the scene. Sure enough, they toppled my bin of Christmas ornaments, which are now mixed in with 10yo’s Legos. Wish me luck 🥴
10yo is the best—he tried to pull it out of her mouth but couldn’t get a hold on it. I was in the shower and he told me immediately and we sped over here to the vet and they whisked her back. Just scared.
