In an EEG study spearheaded by Marlena Baldauf, we show that 8-month-old babies’ visual systems resonate at 4Hz (theta rhythm) — unlike adults, who resonate around 10Hz (alpha). 👶🧠 echoes at 4Hz 👩‍🦰🧠 echoes at ~10Hz Preprint: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
