A successful takeoff! 🚀 Now we wait our turn to deploy, in around 2 hours.
I wanted to look at whether there's a good way to add events as a non-organiser — eg. "I found this event, and thought the Atmosphere might like it, but I'm not the organiser".
(Thinking about how much easier it is for an organiser to use Atmosphere tools if their events are already here to claim)

I'm a day late, but what an excellent line from @zefrank.bsky.social's 2006-03-28 episode of 'the show':
> If people make the final decisions, let's invest in education, not technology.

Hey @attie.ai, I was a late attendee to the conference (missed Saturday entirely!) — I’d enjoy trying out your tool as and when your closed beta expands 😊
A New Social is at #AtmosphereConf and announcing new features for Bounce, the protocol migration service.
Soon, you'll be able to use Bounce to migrate your bridged account into any PDS in the Atmosphere, and keep all your followers in the Fediverse!
Check out Bounce at bounce.anew.social.
Hey @ngerakines.me, is the events.smokesignal.event type intentionally not published? (I can't see it here lexicon.garden/lexicon/smok..., but the others are)
T minus one hour and counting! 🚀

did a walk with @exgenesis.ingroup.social today around UBC and added basic support for publishing to a new lexicon to view your own walks! (super barebones atm)
