Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Visually and storywise. This book is mouthwateringly good. Every brush stroke, the texture of the paper, it’s all there to see.
just finished this issue. I'm enchanted by the art. The way in which backgrounds have this soft, hazy, implied vibe, along w/ everything being meticulously researched, period accurate lends a fascinating vibe. texture in the art alongside this ethereal quality give it a film grain vibe from 80s TV.
There's little Usagi I don't own but that Space Usagi ashcan was a must buy, the Critters #3 is signed and meeting @jaredcullum.bsky.social was a real treat. Dudes a magician with watercolors
