The NTP can now provide additional details for the June 9 tornadoes in Saskatchewan and Manitoba that have been confirmed so far, including the EF3 tornado in the Oxbow, SK area.

The confirmed tornado that affected the Oxbow, SK area unfortunately hit at least one farmstead and caused major damage. So far no reports of injuries, thankfully.
An NTP survey team will thoroughly investigate the damage from this significant tornado starting this morning.

A preliminary rating of EF1 has been assigned to the Jun 7 Hirsch, SK area tornado.
We will provide more details on these events as they become available. There are other tornado reports, from both days, that we are working to verify as well.
