A preliminary rating of EF1 has been assigned to the Jun 7 Hirsch, SK area tornado.
We will provide more details on these events as they become available. There are other tornado reports, from both days, that we are working to verify as well.

The confirmed tornado that affected the Oxbow, SK area unfortunately hit at least one farmstead and caused major damage. So far no reports of injuries, thankfully.
An NTP survey team will thoroughly investigate the damage from this significant tornado starting this morning.

The NTP continues to survey wind damage from the storms in SE SK and SW MB over the past several days. There have also been reports of tornadoes on social media.
At this time, we are able to confirm three tornadoes: Hirsch, SK on Jun 7, and Ste Anne, MB and the Oxbow, SK Jun 9.

Following yesterday's severe storms in southeast SK and southwest MB, an NTP survey team from UManitoba in Winnipeg is on its way to investigate multiple reports of thunderstorm-generated wind damage.
