Finished an 18,000 word short story earlier, aiming for ~12,500 after editing.
I'm not sure if the world will really understand Islamic cyberpunk (it's a tech noir piece set in the Emirates circa 2097). But it's a story I wanted to tell.

I don't have particularly strong feelings one way or another about AI. The same way I don't really devote time to pondering the hammer or pocket calculator.
I do dislike how intellectually dishonest some of the 'discourse' is though.
