Don't you just hate it when celebrities flaunt their privilege at people who can't eat sausage rolls all day
I'm terrible at pushing my own stuff on here. So a reminder that I uploaded a new unofficial #DoctorWho audiobook on Saturday and, just for a bit of a giggle... have a very short extract.
Sorry, did I say bit of *a* Giggle?
Given their similarities I do wonder if, should the rights situation with the Kynoids ever ease (if iPlayer and lack of RBS stories is anything to go by) a Krynoid/Wirrn mashup could work.
Thirteen I needed, thirteen I now have. Will take voiceover work to feed Big Finish habit
Grand Theft Cosmos - fun, fast, like the title. Prisoner of the Sun - this was VERY Eighth Doctor Adventures/New Adventures. Dumps you in it and doesn't let up. Was amused at the discussion of the pronunciation of Jelena in the CD Extras when they debate two ways and I found myself saying out loud
Hothouse. Very appropriately watched this on a long hot evening walk on a rare Sunday of sunshine and it was nice to hear a good use of the Krynoid again, considering they're a very visual and not particularly chatty species. McGann fits so well in Tom style stories whilst being very different.
Oh no :(
"Ye-lay-nuh" like in Dutch but again, we're in Space Future, they can say it how they want then.

The Eight Truths/World Wide Web - easily the best of the current Eighth Doctor and Lucy binge. Great story, great use of cults and spiders, every character memorable and a joy.
Orbis - fine, I suppose, some out there concepts and unusual villains, but didn't feel it.
