Really appreciate hearing Todd Brashear say he thought my book turned out well. That’s really kind! And I also don’t fault him (or anyone else) for skipping the parts that get this detailed. But whether or not these pages make sense to a reader, I think it still underscores how bonkers that song is.

lol at all the members of Slint saying they don’t know what time signature “Nosferatu Man” @lifeoftherecord.bsky.social I’ve talked to so many people who are flummoxed by that song. For my book I asked a friend/drummer to try to break it down for me, which is how I arrived at this description.
