As well as collecting school, learner, & learner & teacher attendance data, Jigitugu also captures learner performance data and is configured to work with our Cash Transfer and GRM Tool for joined-up approach to data and cash programme delivery.
As development funding becomes available, Jigitugu provides a ready foundation for scale-up and for development partners to work with and through a robust government data system to deliver reliable, real-time education data.
The handover is a major milestone for sustainable digital transformation in Mali’s education sector. Next, the Ministry will lead a 200-school pilot in Mopti, Ségou & Bandiagara targeting 5,000 girls with cash under the #PASCOFI programme.
