Feet dangle over the edge of the top of Las Noches. The ram’s eyes stare out absentmindedly over the desolate desert, lost in her own head. The silence was soothing.

The ram stared out over the endless expanse of desolate sands absentmindedly. The perpetual crescent moon hung in the sky, alight with paled glow as usual. She sat atop one of the four towers of Las Noches. Her legs dangled over the edge gently swinging to and fro.
